Plants die, people thrive.

Hello my dear friends!  You might remember that I work as a bartender at a Japanese restaurant.  Well now that the weather's getting colder, business is getting great! It's kind of exciting to see all of the people starting to dress for winter.  Sometimes I see people who are just adorable from head to toe, and it surprises me a bit.  Rural Iowa isn't known for being the fashion capitol, after all. ;) 

Anyway, I have some pretty good news! We don't know when it will happen, but me and the hubby may get to move from our one-bedroom apartment into an actual house for rent! My parents own a rental house that has three floors, and the way things are looking everybody's basically going to get their own floor plus two living rooms to share.  We are looking into moving in with some of our friends who are looking to make the big move out of their parent's house. There is a garden with grapevines, a patio, and three garage spaces.  My sister Lizzy also wants to help paint murals in each of the rooms. I'm so excited, I hope it happens! :)

Saturday was the last Farmer's Market of the season.  I bought delicious sweet onions, black cherry tomatoes, and Iowa-made Riesling white wine.  All so yummy!
